Some of the most TV’s in 2009 published the G1 series from Panasonic, not necessarily because of the new features, but because of the bang for the buck. To keep costs down, Sony has to make only the necessities mentioned this to a large HDTV. A review of the resolution shows it has reduced to 720p. Most networks are currently only broadcast in 720p and there is not much difference between 720p and 1080p resolution. 720p is also a good option if this would be a secondary HDTV.

Like the Neo PDP panels for plasma models, Panasonic has integrated Neo-LCD panels for LCD line. This handles the brightness, contrast and image quality. All of them are optimized for perfect pictures. The IPS structure in the LCD panels has 20,000:1 contrast ratio. The viewing angle in the Panasonic TC-L32G1 is also much better than last year. The picture is equally regardless of the viewing angle.

Connectivity is good in the Panasonic TC-L32G1. A review of the inputs/outputs shows that there are 3 HDMI inputs and VIERA Link function. VIERA Link connects all devices from the HDMI inputs with one remote. There is no scope for an infrared remote control though. The HDTV also sits comfortably on a turntable that can be rotated to see the best pictures.

The TC-L32G1 should necessarily be taken into account when looking for a middle of the line HDTV, which should last you a while to be. The TC-L32G1 is for sale on Amazon.com and usually includes free shipping to be found.

One might think that would be boring to read and review-one flat to another, if not deafening. And it would be if the technology were static. Fee-fie-ho-hum, will introduce a new flat screen of the scrum.

But the technology is not static. LCDs, Plasma, HDMI, LED backlighting, side lighting, local dimming, dramatic black levels, improved Internet capabilities and shows the future potential for higher resolution and perhaps even 21:9 (2.35:1) aspect ratio sets-all have kept our interest high, and cause us to learn and write about it.

And oh yes, the little thing called 3D. It seems lately to be big catch, especially in your local multiplex. The 3-D action promises to be, just as intense this fall on the retail floor of the local video store.

The 50-inch Panasonic TC-P50VT25 is the smallest of the four sets in the all-3D VT25 series. Apart from 3D, an optional network camera (not tested), and a few additional features like a 96-Hz setting for the playback of 1080p/24 sources, its features are almost identical to those of the Panasonic TC-P50G25.

The 3-sets that we have seen so far, all two of them, including this one-time effect have different and individually controlled menus for 2D and 3D operation. While the TC is THX certified for P50VT25 2D in its THX picture mode, it is not currently for 3D THX-certified. The cinema screen replaces the THX option in the 3D menu screen setting.

Of the five picture modes Custom offers the broadest range of controls, particularly in its Pro settings menu. The latter includes white balance, a limited color management system, several levels of gamma, brightness, and three panel options.

Because the Custom picture mode offers additional controls, increase the brightness (in particular, the Panel brightness control), and because all the brightness you can get in 3D to have to overcome the format of the inherent losses, I have custom 3D view and THX mode for 2D.

Panasonic 3D sets offer no 2D to 3D feature conversion of a 3D simulation of a 2D source. The company seems to feel that the only true 3D experience, the format of a long-term success rather than short-term gimmick, and this is certainly a defensible position. This omission meant that I was a 3D calibration on the TC-P50VT25. 3D measurements, with working 3D glasses are made, and you can not activate the glasses with 2D test pattern. We need more posts on this with future 3D Sets as a 3D model is available, or rates, which provide a 2D to 3D conversion feature. Incidentally, this is how we calibrate the Samsung UN46C8000 3D HDTV. While subjective color judgments are risky. The Panasonic 3D color was more than acceptable in the Custom picture mode on the limited 3D source material available.

The Panasonic set-up menus also offer a range of specialized 3D control. 3D input device format offers Auto, Native, side to side or up and down options. Typically, you should leave this control in the car, but if the machine will not display a 3D source correctly, you can try the other selections. There is a left/right swap control, in case the eye images have become reversed. It is unlikely, but you’ll know it when you see him, as it looks really weird. There is also a diagonal line filter. Corresponding to the manual, the “triggers unease by the reception of a signal Quincunx matrix caused”. The last time I experienced a quincunx matrix, after I took the red pill.

    3D performance

I will discuss further the overall performance of the Panasonic in the usual 2D generic categories (color, resolution, black level, video-processing) a little bit. The issue at hand is the 3D performance of the Panasonic and was outstanding in this respect.

Panasonic TC P50VT25 Panasonic TC P50VT25 Plasma 3D TV Review

I checked this set 3D performance exclusively with Blu-ray 3D content played back on Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Blu-ray player 3D. In the Custom picture mode, with the contrast to maximum (100), the panel brightness control to High, and the gamma to 2.2 if the Panasonic a crisp 3D images, even in modest lighting. He had more pop than I remember from the Samsung UN46C8000, although the set is no longer on hand for a direct side-by-side comparison.

The Panasonic 3D quality seems to be mainly limited to the original material. It’s no big surprise. The Panasonic has most of the best 3D, while it showed clearly in the worst problems. The latter included live-action shots of the Grand Canyon on Panasonic demo CD. While some of the shots were good, others did not see better than standard definition.

Scenic shots of the Canadian wilderness looked so spectacular that I break the old kayak and shoot me some rapids wanted (until I realized I had not an old kayak and even a new one). During a clip looked palpably from the sights of Rome real, more preferably from Rome I would have to be here and antics less clown face jugglers, although some viewers enjoy the jugglers “popping-out-of-the-screen”.

Of the four 3D Blu-ray movies on the animated hand, is Monsters vs. Aliens simply the most fun while Coraline makes the most of the 3D medium. Although Coraline is a bit scary and frightening for anyone to care, it offers a boatload of visual delights. I found the film more interesting and involving in 3D than when I first saw it was in 2D.

Overall, 3D on the Panasonic as effective as any 3D to see you in a movie theater, apart from pure image size can. Unlike the Samsung LCD I reviewed last month remains the 3D illusion on the Panasonic unabated even with significant off-axis angle. You can nature wider viewing angle of plasma designs thank you.

    Conclusion

The Panasonic TC-P50VT25 new ground in the reduction of delay and movement in black level for currently available plasmas. Even without its 3D features, this is an excellent set. Whether you buy it for its 3D capabilities, or keep them a bonus, they are not likely to disappoint if you want 3D in the theater and love to bring the experience home. Avatar-lovers can rejoice, as more and more 3D displays on the market. Just step into your local HiFi store and you will, people crowded around a 3D display is usually attached just sharing a few pairs of functional glasses to see the furniture as a pin in the supermarket. If you have managed to cram and get your 30 seconds with the glasses, you may have impressed (depending on the skill of the workers, to set the display and/or how the glasses were damaged after the poster child for obesity Sat on them). You can even envious of those who can afford such high-end tech can.

We remember not so long ago, when a new kind of product would come out and you would have to pay five figures or more for it. Flat Panel were safer that way. But certainly the 3D market at a much lower premium is used. Panasonic’s new GT line by the end of August is a good example.

Panasonic has included a lot of technology into their Viera line, and almost all of which makes it in the new GT versions. Of course, you have the full 1080p resolution, 24p playback, 3:2 pull down to remove mistakes, and a host of special features. While many (like streaming Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, Picasa, Bloomberg, Pandora, Twiiter and weather updates) have a network connection, others require more.

Currently, there are Skype4 available, but you not only a network connection, but an optional camera, need to use it for the full effect. Frankly, we get enough of Skype interrupted when we work in our office, the last thing we would do it in our living rooms as well (although it was on our iPads, iPhones, iPods have, and other devices).

The GT line includes USB ports, so that’s custom content through the Viera Image Viewer or add a wireless LAN adapter, keyboard, or just a memory. Panasonic also has its own IPTV functionality with which Internet-related cable TV or satellite TV, but is more interactive view. THX certification means that the displays were intended to be a certified reproduction of content. Unlike ISP certification is usually just means that all necessary controls for proper calibration, THX certification usually comes with a “THX” mode, which is much closer to a professional calibration can be as a normal user tends to get their own.

The elephant in the room, of course, is the glasses. Currently, most manufacturers use proprietary glasses, the only brand of TVs with them. We are sure one day someone is an aftermarket pair that is compatible cross (and they can make a coin there), because now develop, you need to buy Panasonic glasses. The press materials indicate that the displays are not wearing glasses (although they probably come with at least two pairs, if more offers are signs). Panasonic shutter glasses are the diversity and run a cool $ 150 per couple (if Panasonic’s web site is to be believed). This means that a family of four needs $ 300 to $ 600 add to the price of the display, only the 3D they bought the TV on to enjoy not to mention for the guests.

The one thing that everyone has got is abuzz about the new GT line from Panasonic their 2D to 3D conversion function. This takes your normal programs and converts them into 3D. While we do have never been seen in action, we know that if we paid $ 150 for Pop shutter glasses, we would figure out the maximum benefit from them.

If Sony decided in a few glasses (or decrease in price for those who sell them), toss the price of the GT line would be much more attractive. There are many interesting technology in the Viera line on the top of the 3D including a number of networking and streaming options. So who will buy one of the new GT-plasmas? Well, someone who is much more interesting than in plasma power LED marketing hype for one.

Maybe someone is interested in 3D, anyone interested in 2D to 3D conversion, or someone in streaming Netflix or Skype, or perhaps just someone interested in that, like the calm and comfort of THX certification. So, basically everyone. Featured is packed in a good way to describe the new Viera line. High-cost shutter glasses aside, this new 3D display should turn many heads.

The design of the Panasonic Viera TX-P65S1 is fairly simple, but stylish enough. A large power button, an indicator light and the Panasonic Viera and logos in beautiful harmony in the glossy black bezel, the rounded corners and curves added to the bottom just above a thin silver stripes. The speakers are cleverly hidden, while the matching stand, but still lacks swivel capability offers maximum support.

Unfortunately, the clicker that comes with it fails to impress. Although most of the buttons are easy to distinguish from each other due to their unique shapes, sizes and colors, none of them back-lit and you have to look a bit closer to the tiny menu button location. The on-screen menu sport the same yellow-on-blue color scheme, but has more rounded edges and additional symbols. • Panasonic TC-P65VT25 65-inch Plasma HDTV Review

    Date: 2010.10.28 | Category: Panasonic | Response: 0

The TC-P65VT25 is the flagship of Panasonic HDTV, with a 65-inch plasma display and 3D capability. The P65VT25 comes with a set of glasses that you need to wear going to see any 3D images on the television. In addition to 3D, the TC-P65VT25 Wireless is ready. This feature allows users to online content via Panasonic’s Viera Cast system access, and place video calls via Skype (if you have a webcam to buy for your own image broadcast). All other sizes in the VT25 line are 3D-capable plasmas as well. Panasonic has not yet announced pricing or release dates for these TVs.

The Panasonic TC-P65VT25 is a 65-inch (64.8 cm diagonal) Plasma HDTV. In general, plasma TVs have better viewing angle than LCDs, and they often have a brighter picture. But who cares about size and screen technology? Everyone at the CES is about 3D that do the TC P65VT25 can talk. The TV can display full HD 3D image with a new technology from Panasonic. You do not have wear these silly glasses, of course, but come the TV with a free pair of 3D glasses. If 3D is not your thing, you should remember is the TC-P65VT25 a fully functional 2D and HDTV. You have to wear glasses to the 3D view.

    Brightness, blacks and contrast ratio

We have to wait until we have brought the TV in our labs for a thorough examination.

    Color

Panasonic brings no special color settings with the TC-P65VT25 speak, but looked on the floor at CES, the TV pretty well. Even if you have 3D images, we notice much difference with color saturation or something.

    Motion & Refresh Rate

The TC-P65VT25 offers a 600Hz Sub-field Drive refresh rate, the (frame rates mean different things to plasmas, as they consider LCDs) are quite common for a plasma HDTV. The TV also has a 24p cinematic playback setting, to create a more film-motion if it is to watch movies. This can be combined with the TV-movie mode for THX cinema even more expansion.

Panasonic claims its new science phosphorus TV can produce smoother images, especially with 3D. In our time with the TV-3D in general looked good, but there were some problems when the screen shows a lot of movement in 3D. We often saw blur some of the 3D images, but this could also be a problem with our glasses as well (they were covered with fingerprints and were often bent and damaged by so many people with them at CES).

    Viewing Angle

The viewing angle was pretty good for the TC-P65VT25-even in 3D. We did notice some problems when we saw the TV at an acute angle, since external light is reflected many times our 3D glasses. This may end up being a problem if you plan on a 3D view party in your living room.

    Audio & video connectors

We have a good shot from the back of the TV, so we can only show you the TV-Link port (below). The TC-P65VT25 has two USB ports, four HDMI ports, a PC input and an SD card slot. There is also a regular AV input on the left side of the TV.

The SD Card slot on the side of the TV can be used on the television in conjunction with the VIERA Image Viewer function. The TV will use the playback JPEG stills, if you use a memory card, the photos would have on them. You can also HD video playback, the Panasonic camcorders were recorded over this slot.

    Media and Connectivity

The TC-P65VT25 is part of the Panasonic Viera line of HDTVs, so it comes with all the Viera Cast Functions. This includes the Viera Image Viewer, which we mentioned above, as well as Skype. As long as you purchase a compatible webcam, you can use your TC-P65VT25 in a video conference machine on. Conclusion

Panasonic promised to roll out a series of 3D products this year, so is the TC-P65VT25 a rather expected release. With a number of producers sharing 3D HDTV this year, the TC-P65VT25 seems have a lot of tough competition. As a consequence, the TV functions, such as the Viera Cast options and video call capability-set that 65VT25 apart from the crowd.

View the TV at CES we felt that the 3D images looked fine, but they were definitely the eyes sometimes hard. Not to mention, the 3D glasses are not something we choose to wear if we had had the opportunity. Nevertheless, the view looked good and the TV-2-D image quality seemed to be strong. We have to wait until we actually set in our labs before we make our official verdict, however.

Panasonic did not release pricing information, or where the data of the TC-P65VT25 yet known, but we expect the TV to go for a hefty sum. It is the company’s flagship model, after all, and 3D technology is very new. This usually leads to inflated prices for those who want to be at the forefront of new technology.

I already have a large number of current TVs, Panasonic expansive territory, some large, some good, some average, seen some innovative, some simple – really, it’s been quite a rollercoaster ride. But to some extent the P58V10 Panasonic model is the most exciting yet. Why? Mainly because there is absolutely massive!

As the name suggests, predominant P58V10 the screen in a powerful 58in. And as I mentioned in reviews of really large screens before, it’s pretty remarkable how much additional impact that extra supplies eight inches above 50in screen. It’s kind of like the difference between a screen, many households could cope with a living room, and a screen so large that most people would probably be only in a special film room.

The enormity P58V10′s not the sheer area of its screen does not end. For its bezel is strikingly large, stand around a few inches on each edge of the image. If you are seriously considering buying a TV’s on the 58in, I suggest that conservation is not the integrity of the decorative your room, the main thing on his mind, am right?

First, there should be a portal to the BBC iPlayer service (good old Auntie Beeb would ever actually make the system running on the platform Freesat), explore, and secondly, it lets Panasonic VieraCast online.

It has a greater degree to which you may have noticed that I mentioned a few paragraphs Freesat. For the P58V10 is how we would close its top position on Panasonic TV “ladder” where expected, equipped with a built-in Freesat HD tuner. This sits next to DVB-T and – shudder – analog tuner, in the whole range of free-to-air TV options currently the UK. And all the beautiful new digital channels of TV brings you away neatly hidden within an appropriate electronic program guide. While the P58V10′s Raw size, Freesat tuner and multimedia features a large contribution to explaining its somewhat hefty statements price tag, although I still feel as if it go a bit further before I have to really be still satisfied on the value.

Cue the amount of video processing engine, the Panasonic Intelligent Frame Creation technology to produce an interpolation claimed 600Hz image used. In other words, adds the interpolation technology to create enough sub-frames on the original image to 600 different images per second. It is important to emphasize that the panel does not really P58V10 refresh 600 times per second, as we would normally expect the case when we speak of a “Hz” figure on a TV interview.

Since we are ever to be noted, went as high as Panasonic range you can really reap dividends has considerable power in this year, and the P58V10 reaffirms this belief in emphatic fashion. For while the images of the G-series, which one rests on the bottom of the Panasonic plasma shoots are good, are those from the P58V10 in a different class.

The main reason for this is the P58V10 is much better color reproduction. Some of Panasonic televisions do not have lower-level blew me away with their colors this year with green or orange undertones lingering images. But, perhaps thanks to the Digital Cinema Colour Engine, see the P58V10 the colors while the HD is really great, natural, subtly blended, but also lively in a way we see too often with plasma technology. With such a great color palette on the screen, it’s really no wonder that THX, chosen with the P58V10. It must be said that the color palette a touch can sometimes forced, if you look at standard-definition switch, but it does not take much effort to change the TV settings to smooth this problem to an acceptable level.

The P58V10 is also distinguished by the sharpness of his images in playback of HD. The combination of impressive video processing and Full HD resolution gets the maximum impact from the huge 58in screen, so no pixel unturned in his efforts to produce high-definition images of heart-warming – and silently – clarity.

Then, as usual, with a mid-level or higher Panasonic plasma, it is considered the P58V10 black levels. As much as I could ask the accuracy of the 600Hz name Panasonic has its movement, where processing company to admit now I have that the system is really a good job cutting the size of the judder seen clearly in the P58V10 images and helps action sequences far less jerky and blurred . Occasionally there are one or two processing artifacts for the motion processing efforts are, but if you do not rely on the system kept running at its maximum, its benefits outweigh the occasional negative comfortable.

With some very powerful, dynamic and clear audio to accompany its large and mostly excellent pictures, the only downside I have in the P58V10 images that its standard-definition images do not look as sharp as I know them. But they have not so loud out, as is often the case with super-large screens, so I guess you could say the situation is six of one and half a dozen of the other, as my dear old nan accessible wont to say.

    Conclusion

The P58V10 only a solid standard-definition performer, but it is understood that a screen this size just screams for fed a diet as rich in high-definition content as possible. And with HD, his performance is really bossy – even more so, I would argue, more expensive ultra-thin Sony Z1 series.

The Panasonic TC-P42X1 costs only $ 750 (as for October 2010). But while this plasma HDTV set can accept a 1080p input, it Scale image to its native resolution of 720p. This was the most likely cause of the movement the biggest problem in our tests: a noticeable “screen door” effect.

namely pixels – Each digital image consists of a grid of squares. Typically, this grid is too small to notice when you watch TV from the recommended viewing distance. If the network is large enough to be noticeable, however, the result is a bit like a movie or TV show through a screen door (though not as bad, of course). Some of our tests had the TC P42X1 a noticeable screen-door effect. It saw the worst images from light and white background, but I saw it in a dark scene from our DVD of The Phantom of the Opera. This was not solely the result of the reduction of the image either: We saw the effect even when the set was from 480p to 720p upscaling.

The TC-P42X1 overscan from a bad cut that all four edges of the image suffered. Unfortunately, the device has no overscan setting can be disabled in order to alleviate this problem.

The TC-P42X1 had some color issues. In Lab tests, it showed colors, images that are less than they should have looked crisp and saturated greenish skin color. Normally, the handling to help with a number of controls with color problems, but we found that the TC-P42X1 controls lacked necessary to get the colors just right.

Despite the screen-door effect and overscan issues, the TC-P42X1 pretty good job of rendering video. As you would expect from a plasma set, the TC-P42X1 an excellent viewing angle: You can sit on its side and still the picture of the full brightness and color. And while the viewing experience is not entirely free of halos, moire patterns and other digital artifacts, these problems are not as frequently at the TC-P42X1 as on most LCDs we’ve tested it against were. Too, could one of the advantages of a plasma screen, although it could also be the result of a superior image processor.

When I turned the volume all the way up, the TC-P42X1 the speakers pretty loud, but not unpleasantly so – a sign that they are too weak. That is, they sounded very good that volume, with only slight distortion, wide dynamic range and superb virtual surround compared to other TVs. Great surround sound requires a separate audio system.

Panasonic has made the TC-P42X1 fairly easy to set up TV. The inputs (where you would in a DVD player or DVR plugs) are well placed and easily accessible. The main on-screen menu is intuitive and readable for the most part, but it has its pitfalls. Select For example, if you happened a picture-quality settings such as brightness or contrast, and press OK, nothing, you have the right or left arrow key, press reacts to the menu. The menu is also missing on the screen returns, forcing you to look up the options that you do not understand the manual completely sufficient. A sub-menu button gives you quick one-button access to frequently changed options, such as favorite channels.

The remote is not bad, but it could be much better. The channel and volume controls are placed high and beautiful. By pressing the circle with the arrow keys will take a bit of a stretch thumb – and worse, when you reach for the arrows, it is easy to hit other keys accidentally. The remote is not backlit or programmable.

The TC-P42X1 has an SD card slot that can be used for viewing photos. The slideshow function is limited because they do not support background music and transition options to complement the show. You can not play music or videos from an SD card, either, and that does not support USB storage devices.

    Refresh rate and video processing

The VT25 series of Panasonic plasma panels incorporate revolutionary short disintegration of red and green phosphors that 1/3 of the decay rate of conventional red and green phosophors that must be used in typical plasma panels. What this means is that it drastically cuts down on any kind of ghosting and blurring due to less decay of red and green phosphors, something that is a problem in conventional plasma TVs.
