The Samsung UN40C7000 is a 40-inch 3D TV with LED edge-lit LED backlight technology. This 3D-ready TV is part of Samsung in the middle of the 7000 series of 3D TVs. Although the 7000 series lacks some of the bells and whistles of the 8000 and 9000 3D TVs from Samsung, it still has excellent properties coupled with high image quality and 3D performance. The UN40C7000 has a breathtaking view thanks to its LED-backlit edgelit that allows for a slim profile of 1.2 mm. In addition the 7000 series of 3D TVs from Samsung is a 1-inch bezel, which is much smaller compared to the LED TV in 2009. In this paper we find the UN40C7000 an attractive and slim 3-D TV with great picture quality, excellent black levels and 1080p 240Hz LCD panel to minimize ghosting and motion blur in fast moving scenes helps. While the top end of Samsung 3D Television in the 8000 and 9000 slightly better image quality and a larger number of additional functions have UN40C7000 strikes a good balance between price and features + quality.
